I first became interested in photography as an Undergraduate at St Andrews University when my father gave me an old Rollei Twin Lens Reflex camera. There was a darkroom at home in an old, but very solid, air raid shelter. I also attended a course run by the University Photographer Peter Adamson. Landscape, cats and people encounteresd whilst travelling were my main interest. Inevitably though, I ended up doing the odd wedding.
Much later in life I did some photography at Exeter College where I started to engage with digital photography more seriously and expanded my repertoire. Becoming more experimental, I looked for more unusual subjects and details, and started to develop my interest in the pastiche…..
